Isn’t it simple to figure out how to please a man? After all, his stuff is out there and visible, unlike yours! Not quite. The “Banana” is a capricious beast that baffles even its owners. The following is a list of some of the most important things men wish women knew about their man parts.

Secret #1

At rest, the average penis measures between 3.5 and 4 inches.

Erect, that expands to 5 to 6 inches in length and 4 inches in circumference. Please keep in mind that size can be deceiving: Fear, anger, or anxiety can all cause shrinkage, as Seinfeld put it.

Warm weather can cause the penis to grow longer. Whatever is there, we hope you will look at us with awe and wonder.

Secret #2

The penis is not meant to be twisted or turned.

You have the ability to break it! If this happens to your guy (most likely during sex), remember that his screams are not Oscar-worthy acting; they indicate a medical emergency.

Secret #3

Morning wood, morning glory.

Erections are most common in men during the rapid eye movement (REM) phase of sleep, just before waking up. They are involuntary reflexes, but please accept that we were dreaming about you.

Secret #4

After sex, a healthy penis requires rest.

The medical term for this is the postejaculatory refractory period, and it can last anywhere from minutes to days, but a man cannot have another erection while it is occurring. (It has something to do with hormones.) Patience is your only option in this situation.

Secret #5

A simple poem: If using your hands, remember the glands.

(That’s the head of the penis, which has the highest concentration of nerve endings.) Focus there, and the penis — and its lucky owner — will thank you.

Secret #6

There may be clusters of small flesh-colored dots around the top rim of his penis.

Don’t be concerned: they are most likely not caused by an STD. Penile papules, as they are known, are common. However, lumpier, cauliflower-like bumps could be genital warts.
